ELA - Elementary

Sessions are organized by audience.  Please scroll down to find the session that matches your assignment. There is no need to register, simply join the relevant session at the appropriate time.  The only exception to this is content areas who are requesting that teachers select choice sessions.  If this applies to you, you will receive an email from your content office. If your assigned sessions are not full day please feel free to visit the All Staff link on the Professional Study Day homepage to access optional synchronous or asynchronous sessions.

Note: All Elementary content courses utilize the same Schoology course codes. Teacher will only need to enter the course code once to access the content.

Audience:  Kindergarten Teachers

Session Title: Grade K- Open Court: Starting the Year Strong and ELA Curriculum Updates

Description: Participants will review the best practices and resources for setting up the learning environment to support Open Court implementation and student learning. Participants will also explore the ELA curriculum updates to support acceleration including implementation of Raz-Plus.  Participants will spend approximately 120 minutes to complete both modules.
