Continuing professional development (CPD) courses are offered by Baltimore County Public Schools’ (BCPS) Offices in three sessions: fall, spring, and summer. Registration for fall courses opens when teachers return to duty in August, registration for spring courses opens in December, and registration for summer courses opens in May.  Please monitor the BCPS News Hub for specific registration opening dates and course information.

Current and retired BCPS employees may take courses offered by BCPS Offices free of charge (with the exception of courses that have a fee for materials). Non-BCPS employees may enroll in the courses on a space-available basis for a nominal fee (plus any materials fee).

BCPS employees may also take CPD courses free of charge through the BCPS partnership with Goucher College.  Interested participants can view course offerings and access the registration link on the Goucher College MSDE Continuing Professional Development Courses web page.

Additional information can be found by reading the Continuing Professional Development Frequently Asked Questions for Participants. Registration directions for BCPS employees and non-employees are available.
